Syteline: Group Names, Forms, and Modules

Hi All,

I have a question on the Group Names and available forms in the User form. Does Infor have a document that identifies all of the forms that fall within a Group? This is the first time where I have to grant privileges for employees using Syteline, but I cannot find a good document to follow.

Hi,

In the Groups form after you select a group click on the "Group Authorizations..." button. This should give you a list of the forms that have been assigned to the group. Note that it will show the name and not the caption of the form.

Hi Dylan,

This helps a lot. I do have one issue were a user can open and edit the Order Lines form, but the item does not populate once she selects the item. The other users on her team can select the Item and it prefills the content for the item. This user has to manually type the entries. I thought it was a permission issue.

Do you guys allow the users to save user versions of the forms? One of the first things I might try if that was the case is to check to see if they have a user version of the form. If they do you can revert it by entering design mode and clicking on System --> Edit --> Revert Form Definition
