Function to create financial batches (tfgld1500m000)

Hi everyone,

I'm working with Infor LN CloudSuite and I’m looking for a way to automatically create a financial batch (tfgld1500m000) and ledger lines, either from custom code or another supported method.

My main questions are:

Is there a public function, API, or BOD that allows the creation of a financial batch and related lines programmatically?
Can this be done via custom logic (e.g. LN Studio function) or triggered through ION or a workflow?
Are there any recommended ways to replicate the process of manual batch creation done in session tfgld1500m000, but fully automated?

Any advice, best practices, or technical documentation would be very helpful.

Do you need a create a batch from where? where is your data?

If your data are in LN Cloud, you can create a session for create header and line by DAL

Hi Tombor,

You can use SourceSystemJournalEntryBOD to create journals in LN, which creates batches and respective journal documents in LN. Either you can construct a xml structure with LN 4GL program or you can use the same from ION if you are getting data from outside of LN. Thanks.

Thanks, guys. I created a custom session to import data directly using DAL.
