Unable to get XML Schema String

Hi Everyone,

I'm created a Custom BOD called MySalesOrder and imported to custom document (Registry -> Costom Documents).

When I create a Mapping to mapping a custom BOD to standard BOD (SalesOrder). I getting an error "Unable to get XML Schema String For Noun [Process].[MySalesOrder]"

Please see a custom BOD in attachment.

Has anybody seen this error and have any idea of how to fix it?

Did you make your way through the mapping?

In the background, I can see that you haven't selected a source document. If you're still hitting issues, feel free to upload the custom BOD and I can pull it in and take a look.

Hi Jarat,

Did you create the MySalesOrder BOD in previous versions of ION? I've taken a look at the BOD zip you've uploaded and noticed some fundamentally significant issues in the payload construction. The MySalesOrder.xml file in your schema defines noun type, XPath values, etc.

In ION v12, BOD schema payload formatting has changed a little bit. The new XML definition file only defines the NounName, IDXPath, and the noun's supported verbs. See my attached XML for an example on differences.

How did you generate this custom BOD - file templates? To work around this quickly, I might recommend using an example XML file to upload via ION's file templates to register your MySalesOrder BOD.
