EC Infor Application or Database Connection point

Enterprise Connector Infor Application and Database connection points both use jdbc, but I am falling short of completing these fields.   I am in possession of my AWS root credentials.  (access and secret access keys do not apply here)

Any help on how I complete these fields is appreciated.

What application are you connecting or trying to connect to - an Infor multi-tenant Cloud application or is the application sitting in either on-prem or single tenant cloud?

The ION Database Connector allows you to establish connectivity with a database sitting either on-prem or in the ST cloud. To do so, you'll need to first set up what's called an "Enterprise Location" and an "Enterprise Connector" - the latter of which is a utility that sits on the same network as your database. This provides pass-through access for ION so it can send and retrieve content for an integration. Once the Enterprise Connector is configured, then you can select that EC in the connection point (specifically the red box identified in your screenshot).

Beyond this, the remaining tasks are relatively easy. While "SQL Server" is the default database selected, you can change to another if you're connecting to Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2, etc. You'll then need to provide your server's hostname address, port to connect to, and then the username and password.

The good news is that there is documentation available on www.inforxtreme.com under the ION > Infor ION 12.0 Cloud Edition section with a guide specifically on ION's technology connectors. It provides details on what's available, examples on how to use it, and so forth.
