Unable to use IDM Web Services in ION Workflow

Hello,

I am working on an ION workflow that checks whether Supplier Invoice# exists in the IDM. To achieve this I am using ION API to call the IDM web services.

After selecting the Document Management as Product, it doesn't list any transactions. If, I select Product as M3, I can see all the transactions. Please find below snip for your reference.

Has anyone encountered this error?

Hi Srikanth,

Here are a couple troubleshooting steps:

1. Make sure there is a IDM API Suite in the API Gateway and that it is active. You will see it on the "Available APIs" page in the gateway. If it is not there, you need to add it. If you are running in the Infor Cloud you can enter a Support Incident to get it provisioned. If you are on-premise you will need to add it using the provided IDM Suite template.

2. Make sure that the IDM API metadata is being provided to Workflow by the API Gateway. The metadata about the APIs is what is displayed in the "Search ION API Operation" window in your screenshot. You can check this be navigating to the "API Metdata" menu in the API Gateway. Run the "/APISuites" API using the Swagger UI to get the Suite Context for IDM. Then run the "/APISuites/{API Context}/operations" API to get the IDM API operations. This should return a code 200 with a listing of IDM operations .

3. If you didn't get a list of valid operations from #2, then click the "Refresh Metadata" button on the top of the API Metadata screen. Wait for the refresh to complete and try #2 again.
