Notification/ Task

Hi,

I am trying to send a Notification/Task from a Workflow. I am not able to see the notification/Task in the Mingle. However, I am able to see the Task in the Activities. 

Can some one advise?

I have had issues like this in the past as well. I have a couple of suggestions.



1. First, as has been stated in other responses, make sure that your user has the MingleIONEnabled SecurityRole

2. Ensure that your user is on the Distribution List for the Workflow Task



After ensuring the two suggestions above, I would then go into the specific tasks (by checking the box next to the task and drilling into the specific task) and try the following:



4. Compare the "Distribution List" to the "Distribution Users". If you find your user on the "Distribution List", but not on the "Distribution Users", you may need to check and see if you have set up the IFS Person ID correctly in Ming.le IFS.



5. If your user is not listed under the distribution list, you can manually send the notification to yourself by clicking "Redistribute", find and add your user, and then click apply. This will distribute this single task to your user. If you check your Ming.le page, you will see the Task has popped up. However, if your user was not on the "Distribution List" to begin with, this indicates that your user is not on the distribution for that Workflow node (see suggestion 2). You will need to go into the Workflow and add your user to the distribution of each specific task node that you wish to get notifications for.



If none of these suggestions work, please feel free to reach out to me for further assistance. The only other thing that I can think of is the IFS Timer Service URL was not entered correctly on your Mingle Administration Page.
