Document flow for Show BOD

Hi,

In M3, it is possible to trigger an inital load of a master table, for example the ItemMaster. It will then generate the ShowItemMaster BOD and send it to ION.

How do I pick this up in a document flow? I cannot find it in the list of BODs so I cannot add it to the M3 connection point.

I have uploaded the 2.13.9.zip from shema.infor.com so we have this version under Data Catalog - Standard Object Schemas

I am working in Infor OS 12.0.25.52.

Show is always in response to a Get Request. So the application M3 here should send the Show BOD to the application from where it got the Get request.

Ok, I see. This is the famous "Show without Get" for the initial load scenario. In this case, M3 must also give an option to specify a named ToLogicalID from the same screen where you are pushing the itemMaster from. And the value of this ToLogicalID must match the Logical ID of the connection point that want to receive.

Note that, The value inside the BOD XML will not play a role here. This should be set as the header property in the COR_OUTBOD_HEADER table by MEC. So please check with M3 team where is the field/ configuration to specify the ToLogicalID.

FYI - As Vignesh mention, it is also possible to use Show for "non-event driven" messages. As described on the wiki wiki.infor.com/.../Non-event driven Messages. This is the way we do it for M3.

The "ionToLogicalId" parameter to define what application is the receiver of the Show BODs, should be set in Enterprise Collaborator, as a group control property. See official documenation, Infor M3 Configuration Guide for Infor ION. You can search for the property ionToLogicalId

Hi Sarada,

This Show BOD is initiated by the Initial Load function in EVS005 in M3. There you do not specify any receiver. Where would the receiver appear in the BOD?

Thanks, I see that it's clearly say in the documentation that the logical id must be set in Partner Admninstration for IEC for the initial load.
