Mongoose Grid Filter and comparison Headers

Hi Team,

we are looking for the Grid Facilities to filter and comparing values from the header field itself like the above Image can we have those options in mongoose? otherwise how can we achieve it in mongoose.

#1 You could mimic this functionality by having components on the form bound to variables and using these to conditionally apply filters to the primary collection. However that could be tricky to maintain and requires a lot of time to develop.

#2 There are also query forms which can be created, this form type is designed to do what you are asking for, it does require some development time but less so than building this into an existing form manually.

#3 Mongoose does have built in filtering on every form.(see below)

Pressing the filter in place button on the toolbar (it looks like a funnel) you enter filter in place mode this allows you to do wildcard searches like *mysearch* for alpha fields, and you can use greater than or less than for searching on date or numeric fields.

Pressing the filter in place icon on the toolbar a 2nd time takes you out of filter in place and executes the query with your search parameters.

With this as a user training item the users can get the benefit of the standard mongoose features in all forms, not just ones which have been customised.

It is split into 2 x 1 week sessions and is designed to take a novice to the point where they can use the Mongoose platform for no-code development and become a subject matter expert in their organisation for design and user training.

Hi Lee, is there any option to have intellisense like when the user keys 3-4 characters listing down matching field data.

I don't believe there is an event for that. it could be added but you are in the realm of web control customisation and that can be a real time sink. Interesting idea though.
