API Connection Point generates error 'Path ### can not be added as child of SyncCustomerMaster&#

I have an API connection point that looks like this:

I get this error when I test it or try to activate the Document Flow to which it is attached.

Could you please tell me what is causing the error and how to fix it.

CustomerNumber is, most likely, a numerical value. Is your CUNO paramter setup as a INTEGER?

This error happens for all fields. I have tried removing CustomerNumber from the mapped paths (using a default value) and the error will appear on the AddressLine1 field.

That tells me the Path is wrong. I don't have a CustomerMaster, but I tested with a Sync.CustomerPartyMaster BOD and the PATH that worked for the CustomerNumber was "SyncCustomerPartyMaster/DataArea/CustomerPartyMaster/PartyIDs/ID". I would make sure your path contains each element starting with the root element, and using the Noun, if it exists.
