API MMS120MI : Transaction Add Detailled Allocation

Hello,

I am looking to perform, via API, a detailled allocation.
I found the transaction "PerfDetAlloc" in the MMS120MI API but I can not use it to achieve detailled allocation if no allocation exists beforehand.
So, what is the best practice for making a detailed allocation ? Transaction "PerfDetAlloc" is the good transaction ?

Currently there is no API to perform a manual allocation. Please enter an enhancement request in the ER database to get it into a future development plan

So, pending a future development, what is the best practice to perform a detailed allocation? SQL? Combination of several other APIs?

The only way you currently can do it from the outside is by creating a web service on top of MMS120/121. You should NOT perform and SQL update since the allocation as such also updates a number of other tables with various information and the risk you end up with a inconsistent Db is very high.
