How to send classic XML file to a non-Infor apps from ERP M3 ?

Greetings everyone,

 

We are trying to modelize a document flow from M3 to a non-Infor apps that is not able to manage BODs.

The document generated by IEC would be a custom BOD Sync.MyMessage (triggered through EventAnalytics) sent to ION; this custom BOD would contain the usefull XML data encapsuled in the <DataArea> part of the BOD.

The non-Infor apps has a file connection point defined in ION Desk with a file template (type of XML) and the goal is to write to the destination folder of this external apps an XML file that only contains what is inside the <DataArea>.

 

Is it possible to do this in a document flow ? It seems that the step "Mapping" can only convert BOD to BOD and we are not able to keep only what is inside the DataArea>.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer : use a file connection point that represents the destination application + use a file template attached to this connection point. This is the file template that will extract the XML usefull data from <DataArea>
