Syteline BOM integration

Our next implementation step is to introduce the Bill of Material (BOM) in to the flow.  Is there any videos out there that show an example of how the BOM works in Syteline.  Specifically, how the BOM structure is set up, how can we upload a BOM to Syteline, etc.

I am starting to research this so any help would be appreciated.

The BOM in Syteline is built with the following tables: job, jobroute, and jobmatl tables (add _mst if in Syteline/CSI 9 and higher)



The BOM structure is typical of any ERP system. You have your finished good item which consists of operations (jobroute table) needed to make the item. Each operation has material(s) (jobmatl table) assigned to it. Operation materials can be sub assemblies with their own multi-level BOMs.
