Up to now we have been auto issuing stock when labour tickets are entered. In future, I want to issue stock at the time we pick it. This makes stock taking easier because we only need to count what is in the store instead of finding everything on the shop floor as well.
Unfortunately, I am struggling to find a good way to manually issue the stock. You can use 'issue and return by exception' but this only works for issuing stock for the entire work order. If my work order is for 100 assemblies (each containing 50 items), the only way to issue enough stock for 30 assemblies is to type the number against every item line!
Does anyone know of a better way? I am using V9.6
