Workflow Email Approvals Enhancement: Infor needs your feedback!

Infor is researching a requirement for Infor OS ION Workflow and is looking for existing customers to provide feedback. The requirement is for workflow approvers to be able to take action on a task from an email. There would be no requirement to log into the Infor OS Portal. Approvals could happen from any modern email client (web, desktop rich client, or mobile).

I think we need to have the ability to take actions from the email and control the layout format including font type and size table format for list of lines under the approval email, The ability to assign the action to the next level of approval directly or ask an advice from another resource before taking the final action for the task, The ability to change the status of the current task to hold waiting information

HI Mike,

I understand that clicking on Approve/Reject/Otherwise action links will take us back to Mingle... What we are eagerly awaiting is that the user can click on any of the links and it can do the action without redirecting to Mingle. Please let know if my understanding is incorrect.

Hi, according to documentation you are right, "... When clicking an actionable link from an email, you are redirected to the Infor Ming.le Portal. Whenrequired, you are prompted to log in. The Infor Inbox application is loaded and a confirmation messageis displayed...."

Hi Piotr, Thanks for the update, can you advise how to get the link to open in ion mobile app if that is installed and the link clicked from the email app, at the moment it opens in a browser. Thanks. .
