You use the Application Schema Views Metadata form to create your view, and then run the Views Management form to activate it.

At TechEd this week, a presenter showed a form that is an IDO viewer. It will allow you to select an IDO and see all of the properties and data. This is about the closest I have seen. This was created by an Infor developer and not a general release.

Interesting. I was hoping to be able to make a database view with a complex query so that I could make my own IDO out of it. It's curious that they let you make extgen stored procedures but they don't let you make database views which are naturally way more restrictive on what you can do in them compared to a stored procedure.

I tried this today and I couldn't get it to work. From researching what this form is used for it seems like it might be for integrations with other apps? I'm not sure.

J, I'd like to see this. I don't know that I have a need to see all of them, nor all of the data, but if I could create targeted Viewers like this, it might be helpful for some requirements we've got.
