Has anyone utilized user-specific variables for the input of an App Designer widget - example {USID}, {WHLO}? I am able to do that in the input of an information monitor or information viewer, but was wondering if that is possible or if anyone has utilized these variables in the input of a search query on the App Designer?
First of all, 'Capitalize' "Resp" (RESP), but other than it should work as per above I would think.
If you're using the V2 API, you can set it 'Manage Data Services' as shown below (this is from App Designer).
What API are you trying to use?
I did raise this discussion but I'm facing the same problem on OIS100MI with searchhead OBLC:4 RESP:<USID>

Related Question, when I try to create a data service for OIS100MI it only returns the first 100 records, so I cannot select /SearchHead as it does not appear, does anyone know how I can rectify this ? Or would it be possible for someone to email me the Data Service definition so I can import it ?
This is probably a limitation at the API level, when you trigger the same API from gateway does it also only return 100 records?
Have you tried setting the number of records (V2 API only)?
Yes, I only ever get 100 records in my environment, I do not think I have the authority to change it, will have to ask the Demo Environment team for help
Rene, there is no way for me to change the setting, the APP Designer is calling the API when I search for transactions on OIS100MI, sadly I have no way of changing the setting
Rene, we may be looking at two different things, I was actually trying to add a new data service, but the list of returned transactions for OIS100MI is too long and the transaction I wanted was not appearing on the list to be selected. I have solved the challenge by cleverly searching for SearchHead instead of the OIS100MI list of transactions, luckily there are only 4 transactions in M3 that contain the words SearchHead so I can now create my data service, all good ....
