Create new Web Service Definition in MEC?

Hi everyone,

Does somebody now, how to create a wsdl in Mec Web Service Definition to use a Mec mapping to retrieve information from M3 and send it back as a respond?

Basically, create kind of SOAP Api using Mec. I haven't found much information about this.

I have already created a WebServiceSyncIn channel but don't really know what to do next.

Although, from my experience with MEC and WS, I usually create a small Java program that calls the WS using SOAP and use it as an external JAR in MEC.

Thanks Jonathan, I already red this post. My point was more like doing the contrary, using Mec as a web service.

Yes, MEC can do that (dependent on version). M3 Equipment uses it for instance. In particular to serve CATs PartStore for a dealer perspective. You would typically not create the actual wsdl in MEC but rather import it.

I don't quite understand what the issue is?

in MT You can not use external JARS...
