LBI Dashboard Not Prompting For Parameters
Legacy Contributor
I have a Crystal Report that prompts for two fields. I've added the report to Reporting Services and if I run with Data Refresh, it prompts me to select my parameters. I then created a dashboard and put the report on the dashboard with the goal that my user can run the report at any time. The report is set to export to Excel. However, if I click on the report from the dashboard, it is not prompting me to enter parameters. I must have missed something when I added it to the dashboard, but this is the first time I've tried this and cannot find what I missed. Any ideas what I did wrong?

In the Report Administration under Reporting Details then Data Filtering make sure your parameters (which is your query from Crystal) are there. If so, that should allow the prompting when you run the report.

In the URL field (on the Main tab), does your string include "REFRESH=true"? This forces it to "Run with Refresh Data", which should result in prompting you for your parameter entry.
