Newbie Question : How to clear fields on M3 panel when launching it

Hi,

This is probably a **** question, but this is coming from a pure H5 script developer newbie !!

I'm wishing to clear fields on a specific M3 panel when loading the panel. I'm using setFieldValue correctly but my issue is that the script is also called when, for example, pressing F4 on a field in the panel... So the script always clear the fields...

(Not sure my explanation is correct)

Any idea on how to do this ?

Hi,

That is because the script is not connected to any event/field on the panel.

So when ever the panel loads it script is getting executed.

Can you try connecting it to an event/field and then try

I don't really see what will be the difference when connecting the script to a event/field ? Are we sure that the script will be executed anyway when loading the panel ?

You can clear all / partial fields at Script Init function.
