How do you get the value from a DateTime Picker field in Infor CRM in a c# code snippet event handler?

If you mean an entity event handler (like Account.OnAfterUpdate), keep in mind that when such code runs, you will not have access to controls on a form, so there is no way to reference the value in a date field on the Account Detail form when running code in the Account.OnAfterUpdate event for example. If you are doing so you could reference database values, i.e. the field that is mapped to your date control.





If you are using a snippet on a form itself then you could access values of a date/time control directly. This example has a date/time field on a form and the following code runs on the OnChange event of the date/time field:





if (QFDateTimePicker1.DateTimeValue != null)

{

DialogService.ShowMessage("The date entered is : " + QFDateTimePicker1.DateTimeValue.ToString());

}
