Why Customizing columns is impossible in some H5 programs

Hi,

The feature that allows customizing columns seems not to be available in all M3 programs.

Is there a known reason for that ?

Do you mean the possibility to create views to define which columns to see?

This is depending on each program and how it was programmed from the start and is not affected by H5 but the java code in the business engine.

Some programs only have pre-defined views, some have the possibility to define your own views and in programs with the new list standard you also have the possiblity to join different tables and create viritual fields.



Each program needs to be re-written in order to utilize the new list standard and this is the reason why it is handled differently in different programs.



If you really need to customize the view in a program that does not support it you could always try to create you custom list through program CMS010.
