Hello FACTS Channel Partners,
Infor is happy to announce that the FACTS Development Team is launching two new social networking initiatives specifically directed to our Channel Partners and interested Infor employees!
Follow us on Twitter!
Starting Monday, June 22, we began sending various updates via a new Twitter account. Updates (also called tweets) from this account will include general information about our progress on various projects and other development activities that may be of interest to you. Only employees of Infor and Infor's FACTS Channel Partners will be approved to follow this private account.
You can request to follow our Twitter account by going to
http://twitter.com/FACTSDevFACTS Development Blog on Infor365!
Within the next 4 weeks or so, we will also be launching a new FACTS Development Blog on Infor365! This will be an exciting new way for us to communicate more details about FACTS development activities. Like the Twitter account, access to the blog will be limited to employees of Infor and of Infor's FACTS Channel Partners. Anyone wishing to have access to the blog should first have an account on Infor365, then send an email request to Tim Plotner (tim.plotner@infor.com) for access to the blog, noting the specific Infor365 account they wish to access the blog.
The blog will be used for many functions, and we strongly encourage every Channel Partner to have at least one person responsible for monitoring this blog.
We will use Twitter to send updates when a new post is available on the blog. The blog will be used to provide details that cannot be included in or are inappropriate for a tweet.
Please note that these two initiatives are specifically for communicating FACTS development information and will not include other Product Management updates. That means that you will not find information on release dates, proposed or future features, user group meetings, etc., on the FACTS Development blog. We will discuss progress on current projects and development activities, share information that will be helpful to all FACTS developers, and sometimes request input on current projects.
