Script to be executed when user log in H5

Hi all !

We need to develop a script that will execute some action only when the user log in H5. How can we trigger this script ? We found the H5.Startup.script.js but don't know how to use it ...! (not event sure this is the correct solution!)

Can you provide some help ?

Are you running H5 stand alone or in Ming.le?

If you log on to Infor OS you automatically have access to applications, i.e. a user does not log on to H5. A user logs on to Infor OS/Ming.le and H5 runs within Ming.le. Which action do you want to execute?

H5.Startup.Script.js should not be used to execute custom JavaScript code at H5 startup (but it is possible to use it for this). It is meant to be used for temporary fixes in the MUA (mainly as a testing ground to see if a bugfix will work). It will reset to blank each time a new MUA patch is applied.

OK thank you for this precision regarding H5.Startup.Script. But then, my primary question remains !

Yes, there is no existing hook for this type of script. It would have to be something new like a "startup" / "afterlogin" script.

Please add an enhancement request for this as there is no current way to do this in a controlled manner.

The only workaround would be to add scripts as personalisations to all related programs and then store in the session cache if it has been applied or not, put that is just not practical.

The H5.Startup.Script.js should not be used. Infor don't like it....

on NO Cloud Systems is only possible changing standard js files...
