Impact of upgrading to Landmark V11 on existing Process Flows

We are looking at possibly upgrading Landmark to V11 early next year. At this point, we are still looking into the impact of doing that. That would also been an upgrade to Java 1.8 (we are currently on 1.7).

Has anyone done this yet? Any idea what the impacts are, if any, to all of our existing process flows? We have quite a few that are running currently based on File Channels/Receivers in Rich Client but we also have several that are scheduled.

Any info on the impacts to IPA would be greatly appreciated - thanks in advance!

Last July, our consulting partners HyBridge Solutions executed a successful on-premise upgrade for us ... GHR 11.0.0.26 to 11.0.14 and LMK 10.1.1.56 to 11.0.19. After the upgrade, our scheduled IPA processes began failing with async errors " lost while in progress". We were instructed to re-create all our schedules with different names. After this exercise, everything ran smoothly. We did not have to do any other manual interventions to the IPA flows. They all ran fine with no issues. Unfortunately, we have no File Channels/Receivers setup, so I can't speak to how those will react to the upgrade. You'll have to test extensively. I hope this helps!

We did the upgrade to Landmark 11 last year and didn't have any issues as I recall. We did it as a new install and just brought the IPA flows over (we only use IPA on landmark now).

Our Infor Process Automation Development team is quite sensitive to making changes to the product that will break your existing/predesigned flows and in my opinion they do a great job at this. I know there was some changes that we had to make around TLS and encoding that will cause issues with some flows using WebService/Web calls to external systems.
