Contract Management Synchronization
Legacy Contributor
In Contract Management, is there any kind of manual or automatic synchronization that is set up between CM and LSF application databases?
If so where is that documented? In the Supply Chain and Contract Management Administration manuals, there is only really this mention. It doesn't reeally say how the synchronization other than it's "automatic".
"Procurement data is easily interfaced from Contract Management to the Lawson S3 Supply Chain Management application suite, including: vendors and vendor locations, diversity codes and manufacturer
codes, vendor agreements, items, UNSPSC codes, and purchase classes."
Does anyone know if this interface is automatic? Are there scripts or programs that control this interface? What is the interface called?
Any one have any idea how the synchronization works or is set up?
Thank you,
Roger

It is called federation so maybe search on that word. The Landmark and LSF worlds have to be federated together. Once the federation happens it is automated.
