End of last year 2 new pc’s were delivered to an end user, Opera client installed fine but XRL installation halting with an error saying it couldn’t locate the LsAgEg10.mdb file although it was there in the location it specified. Also Document Management appeared to install okay but an error was occurring when signing into Opera, removed Doc Management logged in error free. User then found that when he went into the View screen he was seeing odd characters (upside down question marks and ½ signs) and we then noticed odd characters on the Pegasus logo screen (in place of the copyright symbol)
Initially we tried a re-install of windows, leaving all data and programs but re-installed Opera, tried XRL and Document Management – same issue for all
Then did a completely factory reset, wiping everything – all now working perfectly. Repeated this with the other machine and again this resolved the issue
This week we have delivered a new pc to another customer and have the exact same issue. Went straight for the factory reset but this time this has not resolved the problem, have the exact same issues with Pegasus
