Receiving a "providex has stopped working" message when using the cenpos html5 interface.

We have a couple of users that have been receiving this fairly regularly when running credit cards using the html5 interface. Wondering if anyone else has been having this issue. When one of our user's customers places an order for over $100,000.00 and comes in to pay with a credit card and this happens, it is very disconcerting to their customer and time consuming to get into cenpos and find the transaction to see if it went through or if they have to retry the card. We have switched back to the flash interface but that is going away very soon.

Guessing - you are using Windx v10.20, try Windx 11.50 (not 11.65)

These customers are on Facts 9.1 using Windx 12.65.

Hi All. I just spent the morning vetting the CenPOS Suite on FACTS v9.1. The ISO Infor delivered for FACTS v9.1 had PxPlus v12.5x along with Windx v12.5x.

I did extensive testing this morning with CenPOS's HTML5 interface which, if you remember, did not exist when the CenPOS Suite was first introduced in FACTS v9.1.

All testing went fine; Pre-Auths, voids, deposit payments via CC, partial payments via CC, token add/edit/delete, token usage, etc., etc., etc. Not once did I receive any error or warning messages. All charges completed properly and I was able to match them up with the proper information on the CenPOS virtual terminal.

Bottom Line: FACTS v9.1 is supported with PxPlus v12.5x along with Windx v12.5x. Anything other than these two PxPlus components should be considered the "culprit" when PxPlus, Windx or reported OS errors cause FACTS to fail.

Final Note: I'm really suspicious of an error that reads "providex has stopped working". We're all running PxPlus, and have been for years and years. Providex was the "old" product and unless PxPlus missed an error message containing the word "providex" this is truly an oddball message to be coming out of a modern PxPlus product.

Jeff, my apologies. My mind was thinking pxplus but my fingers typed providex.

This does not happen every time a charge is made but it did happen a once or twice a week and they do use the interface multiple times a day. The two customers are running facts 9.1 with windx plugin 12.50. For both, the users log into a terminal server and run facts from there. Maybe that has something to do with this issue.

I would like to attach a screenshot showing that the emv is there, a token has been created but the pxplus has stopped working message pops up but I cannot do an attachment and this area will not let me paste more than text.

For now, both users are currently running the flash version to avoid this issue.

One thing that I did not mention in the original post is that these customers are using a terminal server/cloud configuration. Is anyone using the Cenpos HTML5 interface with facts in this type of setup?
