Language handling i H5 script

Hi,

Is there any functionality or best practise if you want to add language handling in your H5 script, if you can use the language constants in M3?

In Mforms we have the PropertyTranslator and TranslationsService methods.

Hi, I don't think there is such a service for H5 Scripts.



Basically you would have to add the constants that you would like to use within the script itself. So you would not be able to use M3 constants. I can see the need for a service like the one we have in Smart Office, but using the service comes with an extra request (or multiple requests) and it also introduces asynchronous behaviour as you need to get the translation before you can use it. It would also be more complicated to implement a corresponding "PropertyTranslator" for web and the Infor Design System controls that it was for .Net.



I will consider creating an enhancement request for a service that would be able to get the constants so that the service can also cache translations on the client, but I don't think we should consider creating anything more complicated like the PropertyTranslator. If would be for the cloud MT version only.
