IC12 show negative onorder QTY I cannot locate
unknown
I have an IC12 location for an inventory showing a negative ON ORDER QTY. I cannot find the source for this. I have looked everywhere I know. There is not a STOCK STATUS on the drilldown. What am I missing?

Probably not missing anything. We see these orphaned negative soh quantities pop up from time to time. No source, no way to determine the cause. To fix you'll have to quickpaint ITEMLOC and SOHDETAIL to match what's really on hand. I recommend opening a case with Infor to make sure all the bases are covered.

You shouldn't have to create a quick paint. Lawson has built in forms for PO, IC, WH, and RQ for quick paints. They are all 99 series forms and are available in 9 & 10. We use them quite often for orphaned demand, back orders, and SOH which are all fixed from the IC99.2 screen.
I have attached the screen list.

That would be nice but IT doesn't give us access to those screens. I had always thought these were just Lawson supplied quickpaint screens.

Yes, those paint screens (the 99's) should not be used without a clear picture of each field that needs updating. GSC could identify which fields to touch.
They also come with the DVT (Data Verification Toolset) program, that I run monthly. Infor/Lawson does not talk about this program anymore, but I have been running it since 2002. This program cleans up any orphan records for RQ, PO and WH. It also does a data integrity check between tables in RQ, PO and WH. It has solved my negative issues for WH, when they have popped up.

You are both correct. We set the screens for our support team only. Our Internal Audit policy set up the process that the screens are used only after opening a ticket with InforXtreme and getting GSC approval to use the screens to make the correction. We must document the use of the screens, but it saves the time of having to build paint screens and go through change control when we need to make a change.
