How to create Sorting in Subfile through H5 script.

Hi All,

Currently in OIS061 we have sorting based on Item number and Start Date combination (Both fields part of the sub file) in B panel subfile, based on the index used in the view defination indicators. And OIS061 has only Sorting order no views. I have a requirement from Customer where they want Sorting based only on start date in the Subfile. Along with this I also need to add two more custom fields in subfile but all should be sorted on start date. Is this possible through H5 script or anybody worked on this kind of requirements?

The above requirement is in the multitenant cloud env. Below is the screenshot of current OIS061/B screen.

Have you tried building a custom list in CMS010 based on the table behind OIS061?

Thanks for the reply. I have tried CMS010 and CMS015 for other requirement. But here there is a text box for start date and item number filtering on subfile header was wondering if still the sorting through CMS010 will work for start date through textbox in subfile if user entering the start date manually and pressing enter. I will give it a try.

But can I hide this Item number? Because current sorting is based on both Item number and start date. I know there is a hide column option with right click but in next session the column appears again. Any possibility to hide Item number through script?

You may not be able to hide the item number column permanently since it's a primary key for the program. However, you should be able to acheive what you're looking for in CMS010.
