CRS881 record creation

Hi

In the MeC management page in LCM (Server > Utilities), it shows the following text: -

DataTranslator is currently not loaded.

MECDataTranslator is currently not loaded.

I don't see this on every site though.

Where MeC maps contain data translation steps, how do you guys get the records loaded created in CRS881?

I guess I'm asking "Where is the modern version of the good old "MBMTrnUpdate.cmd" if it;'s not showing in the Utilities?

Hi Neil,

You need first to run one message in the system for it to load.

Hi,

Yes, it is automatically loaded once you get the first message. But you can also configure automatic loading every certain time using scheduling parameters in IEC properties. Or even using API CRS881MI ("live" data) instead of cache data... Check DataTranslation parameters in properties file.

I may be wrong but Neil 's question is related to "how upload records in CRS881 ?".

Go to Utilities/MBMTRN Update

Check "cumulative bla bla bla"

Choose your API reference

Select one or several mappings where you have set up translations... or select none then translations of all mappings will be fetched

My question was prompted because in the Utilities tab, there is no option to update.

However, it seems I have to run a message through before the MBMTRN update option becomes available (which seems a strange way to do things but anyhooo.....)
