I have one particular client who has been having an issue with scheduler since the payroll upgrade. They went from version 2.60 to 2.70.01. When on 2.60 everything worked as normal but when i tried to update the scheduler client after upgrading to 2.70.01 i got a message "DNS does not exist".
I thought this message was due to opera being hosted and scheduler could not see the server however, the strange thing was opera client was fine. What i noticed was if i browsed the network by IP address i could access the opera server folder but if i browsed by the server name i couldn't access this. I them tried to add the server name to the host file but this didn't help either. I had a word with their IT and this appears to be resolved.
However, now when i try to run the scheduler client i am getting "object ref not set to an instance of an object".
Anyone came across this before?
