Can Infor IDM receive emails and store the attachment in document type?

Do you want to store the document in idm as well as same time send it on email when its triggered from the Applications like M3?
Hi - No from third party system email will be triggered with attachment can IDM receive and store ?

You need to try this through IDM Rest APIS or Java and .Net resources of IDM which are under "Development" section in Control Center of IDM. The third party application of yours need to call one of this above resources and send the document to IDM to check if its successfull.
You also need to create a document type as per your need in IDM.
Because You want to store a attachment from the email (triggered by third party application) into IDM.
Other option would be to look into IDM Capture (through Ephesoft). This can monitor folders or email inboxes and automatically index files to IDM. Separate license and fees for IDM Capture though.

What format would the third party be sending? If you have the third party email the documents to an email address (AP@company.com), IDM Capture could take the documents sent to that email and automatically index them into IDM. Hope this helps - I would reach out to Infor for more info - could probably get a demo on your specific use case.
