Configuration in H5 Administration pages

Has anyone looked into storing application configuration / Settings for an H5 SDK application in Infor OS/H5? Some settings could be stored on M3 user or in CUGEX, but I was looking at Data Files / Configuration in H5 Administration pages and started thinking that perhaps there is a better way? I haven't found any examples or documentation though. In my current case Customer is looking for some different application behavior based on current user's facility. I can solve this in CUGEX, but should I?

H5 does not have an oficiall user settings service. The datafiles etc are interally used. There is a big difference between user settings and application settings, what are the user settings that you would like to store. Whould it be an option to simply store it in the browser?

I don't know CUGEX so I can't say if that is a way to do it but if you can have extention fields in M3 and add it to MNS150 that would be one way to do it.

"Customer is looking for some different application behavior based on current user's facility". I mean if it's just a check in a list of know facilities that can be added to the code itself. Not sure what the user or application setting are that you would like to add.

As an application level setting you can use parameters on the PATH to your application, Then you would add them as you add the link to the application. User settings could be in the browser only or you would have to check with Ole Rasmussen if there is a service that you can use in H5 for user settings.
