How to trigger the flow only once for particular event rule

Hi,

I'm having a event rule which which captures Create event with some rules associated with it which monitors M3 table.

When I trigger the flow that table is triggering twice for same set of data. Therefore the MEC and the ION dataflow associated with it triggering twice.

Is there a way to handle that flow to trigger only once. In MEC level also to check some condition and abort the MEC for 2nd trigger will be fine.

Hello,

Yes you can. Use the TimeCorrelation rule for this. Example available in standard rule ItemMaster on MITMAS_UPDATE.

Hi @m-richard thanks for the answer. Will it wait from 1st trigger to the time duration that we're putting for TimeCorrelation. As an example if TimeCorrelation is 60s it'll trigger after 60s. Is it?

It's a 2 minutes window in the cloud; you don't have to manage the delay.

So if your event occurs before the end of the window, it will replace the existing one in EA memory.

If you are unlucky, you may have a first trigger 2 sec before the end of the window plus another immediately after the new window.
