How do you default expense accounts on a PunchOut?

Hello everyone!

Have you set up punchouts? If you have, a few questions for you:

1) Who have you set up already?

2) How do you default expense accounts so the requester does not have to enter them into RSS?

3) Would you be interested in a quick phone call to discuss?

We are live on CloudSuite with Grainger and Office Depot. We default our GL account with Punchout by vendor, and our cost center comes from their req loc in RSS. My email is jdharper@cmh.edu if you want more information. Thanks!

Hello! I have not worked with Punchout recently but have you thought about defaulting the accounting unit (cost center) at the Requesting Location and then when the user goes to create a Requisition in RSS, before they shop their Punchout vendors they define their account at their Profile before they click Create Request. I would think that account would then default for each of the Punchout items when the requisition is created from Punchout.

We have AU defaulted on the Req Loc, but we don't have the expense account defaulted anywhere

Children's Mercy in KC has setup Office Depot, and Grainger. Office supplies re expense to the same Issue Account, the Accounting Unit or EDL comes from the Requesting Location. We have the trading partner return the Account in the return transaction which loads with the punch out requisition. Same approach for Grainger, though the requester can change after the punch out transaction completes before they release the requisition. Glad to have a quick all
