Building Service Type Items
Legacy Contributor
Is anyone familiar with or have knowledge on how to build an item is a "service" type item rather than a stock or non-stock? Our IT group is asking if we have the ability and we are unaware of how to do that at this time.
Thanks

Service items are built in RQ10/RQC or in PO20 and identified as either Amount or Quantity service lines. You can't build service items in IC11 or some other setup screen. In PO25 you can build a service agreement and add service lines (items) to the agreement but I personally don't know how that ties in with the PO process. We only have supply contracts in PO25.
