Opera 3 hanging and going to Not Responding
Legacy Contributor
Hi,
We have a customer who we've moved Opera 3 onto a new Windows 2012 R2 server running Opera 3 and document management. The also have SharePoint installed on that server. They periodically have Opera going into a Not Responding mode with the Event Viewer saying opera.exe stopped interacting with windows and was closed. I've attached the event viewer log. The server only has SharePoint and Opera 3 with document management installed and has 19.5GB memory. We've turned off all Trend AV agents to see if it was the AV but that made no difference.
Any advice would be appreciated :-)
Thanks,
Bhav

I don't think you'll get much information from that. If you're going down that route you want to be getting crash logs that WinDbg can load and analyze.
For example here:

Use ProcDump on opera.exe when hung, then use WinDbg to try and trace where it's dying.
