anyone come across opera/XRL on windows 8

any problems / limitations ?
Have one customer saying the vfpodbc.dll doesn't load so cant use xrl.
Support are saying its not going to be supported on 1.80 in feb 2013 but will be on 1.80.10 in april 2013.
once 1.80 is signed off they may announce its supported if they don't find any problems
