FACTS 7.7 cssecu problems

Has anyone else had any problems with the cssecu security object?
We are running: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.4 (Tikanga)
With OpenSSL: OpenSSL 0.9.8e-fips-rhel5 01 Jul 2008
I am told by our OS guy that this is the latest release of OpenSSL for RedHat 5.

The problem is that I get an error 15 on line 32165 of SMC999: obj_ref=new(class$) -- where class$ is "cssecu".

Just for giggles, I tried an older version 3 redhat server. I do not get the error 15, but when I try to use the 'encrypt$' property with option #2 for the new encryption, my PVX session completely dies. Encrypting with option #1 (old encryption) works fine.

The error 15 at 32165 in SMC999 is documented in the 7.7 release overview, page 4 (and also see page 3). Symbolic links to the ssl binaries probably need to be set up.
