Vendor Consignment

We upgraded to Visual 6.5.3 and would like to implement the vendor consignment function. However, our costing method is actual FIFO by part # and the function is not available with this costing method. We have been told that we have to change to FIFO by part # by location and this is a complicated change. Has anyone made this change or found a different way to implement vendor consigment.
