Document Imaging Best Practices
mguevara
We are looking for best practices with Imaging documents for ERP. We currently own Onbase from Hyland, but have never used it for storing ERP documents. We are looking to start scanning Invoices, Quotes, etc. for Finance and Employee related documents for HR. Would anyone be willing to share their business process for how they handle electronic storing of ERP related documents?
Please contact me at mrue@lafayettela.gov

We have an interface between Sire (owned by Hyland) and Lawson to image PO's, AP checks and invoices. Sire is at end of life so we'll be looking for a replacement product in 2017. We also use Sire to house other non Lawson documents. We've looked at OnBase and have seen MHC's Image Express at Lawson conferences.
Please let me know if interested in the specific processes of how this interface works for each of the different type of documents. Our processes will change with a new product obviously.

Teresa,
yes we are interested in processes of how each document is currently processed thru your system. We are looking at it both from a technology and business process. So we would appreciate it if you would be willing to share your current processes.
You can contact me at mrue@lafayettela.gov
Thanks,
Michelle Rue
