When entering an invoice against a service agreement contract line where there are not enough funds on the contract line what are best practices on resolving?

Is there a better way to enter an invoice against a service agreement contract when the invoice cost is greater than contract line cost?

Ben - I was asked to pass this along to you to help with your question...

In current releases, invoice unit costs that are greater cannot be entered against Service Contracts.
In CU76 (January release), a new enhancement will allow PO Cost Messages to be created if an invoice unit cost for a Service Contract is over tolerances, just like PO invoices. After the PO cost message is handled, the invoice will be allowed to be released for the higher unit cost.

The higher match unit cost will be noted on the Contract line.

The Cost Messages will also be displayed directly on the Contract.
