Opera 3 Scheduler emails

HI, we have recently upgraded 4 of our Opera 3 sites to the lates version of Opera 3 & the latest version of Scheduler......but we cant get it to email when a task fails - has anyone been succesful with this?

We have cofigured the setup options correctly.

It can send a TEST email to myself which indicates that the SMTP is working correctly

But if you set a backup off, knowing you have 25 users logged in, the task fails, but no email is sent.

Have logged with Pegasus, which is oing round the houses, but just wondered if anyone has been succesfful with this. This is on 4 separate sites and all 4 can send tst emails out from th scheduler

Hi James, did you get this working? Emails seems to work if the sales period end fails but like you say, if the backup fails no email is sent.

hi, thanks for the reply. Thats interesting as thats all we have tested, set a backup off, knowing that 20 or so users will be logged in during the day & within a minute the task fails.

hi this now has an SCR. It works for backups on a local PC basis, but not over a network. Thanks
