We deliver anywhere from down the street to two states away. Therefore, each customer has a different delivery charge. We wait to enter delivery charges at Shipping Entry. (Our customers don't always decide shipping until later. If they happen to have a truck in the area the day their parts are done, they'll pick it up instead of having us deliver.)
1. In Customer Maintenance you can select a default shipping method for the customer. Is there a way to enter a default shipping charge, also?
2. If not, is there a field in Customer Maintenance that is viewable in Shipping? For example, Customer Notes are available in Customer Order Entry, so if that were viewable from Shipping Entry, they would just be able to open the field and see the shipping charge. But I can't find where Customer Notes are available in Shipping Entry.
