Item field not displayed correctly in sales order line - ERP LN FP5 - Pls help

Hi All,
I am facing a problem while doing a sales order line entry.
The item field is normally displayed segmented (project + item code). Currently the display is only to projects and no access to item code list.
Please can anyone let me know which parameters, modules, setups i need to check.
