opera 3 error 1104 on systemseqnotif.dbf

hi all has anyone seen the above error since upgrading to opera 3? we have a couple of sites with it, but av sophos is excluding all relevant directorys. they dont use the scheduler and the error crashes at the check messages part even though no messages to check!
