Really hoping someone might be able to shed some light on this one... fingers crossed!
One of our customers sends a large number of payslips every week, around 4000.
Each week somewhere between 10 -150 emails fail with the message *Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)) in the messageitems table.
This has been happening for years and is slowing becoming more of a problem as the size of their payroll increases, you can only imagine how long it takes to pick out 150 employee's from 4000+.
I've logged various incidents with Pegasus and I've also had their IT company looking into the email server side of things but we aren't getting anywhere.
I've checked everything that I can think of including permissions, AV, event viewer, exchange logs and montioring with ProcMon.
There isn't any trace of failed emails on the email server so it would suggest that it's not making it that far.
Has anyone else come across this and been able to resolve it?
Thanks
Jodie
