Crystal- formula as keyword search

Does anyone have a formula to add to Crystal to have the ability to search in multiple fields. For example when you type in a mfg number in the Requisition Self Service it searches multiple fields.

Trying to figure out how to only add the Mfg number once and have it be searched in the PO item, the vendor item and the mfg item fields off the PO Line.

Any input is greatly appreciated!

I often have to find a needle in a haystack for purchases, and I use this formula to search these fields for data. Of course substitute *123456* for the string you want to find. Hope this helps.

UpperCase ({POLINE.MANUF_NBR}) like "*123456*" or

UpperCase ({POLINE.ITEM}) like "*123456*" or

UpperCase ({POLINE.VEN_ITEM}) like "*123456*"

If yo create a text parameter and insert it in all there statements listed by traubr, you can input the value once and have it feed all three statements at once.
