M3 Document Printing

Does anyone know if there are settings in M3 that control whether a printer prints double sided, or not? Our default printer works as expected, but when it goes down we switch printers. When we switch everything prints double sided. This is only on jobs from M3. The printer settings in Windows are set for one sided only.

In our ST 13.4, StreamServe stores the print settings for each document type. In MT 16.0, our local printer server settings on each printer dictate how documents print. Hope this helps.

to build on Adam's answer a bit, if you're using Streamserve, you can set a variable for the Driver used for the Printer Type as per below.

You can then use the Custom field in MNS205 for example as per below example (which one you use and how is up to you).

You can then set the variable '$duplex' as per below.
$duplex = $mvx_MODIFICATION;
